Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location Smyrna, Tennessee Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU setting with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio Manage ventilator settings and sedation protocols for critically ill patients Perform medication titration and administer complex pharmacological therapies Assist with and support procedures including tracheostomy placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET communication, completion of communication boards, and medication teaching Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Proficiency with ventilator and sedation management Experience with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing systems, and Draeger ventilators Ability to float in rotation with full-time staff and other travel nurses as required Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU environment Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records documentation Experience in a Trauma III designated facility Why Join Us Work alongside an experienced ICU team with dedicated unit tech support in a well-equipped critical care environment Gain valuable experience in a Trauma III certified facility utilizing advanced critical care technology and equipment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 771433.
