Job Summary:
Perioperative Services - CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Nurse located in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a Level I trauma hospital with a focus on cardiovascular surgeries, including performaning duties related to a variety of surgical patients across multiple services. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; a minimum of 2 years CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience; 2 years pediatric surgical experience; prior travel experience; circulating nursing skills; BLS (Basic Life Support); PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); experience in a similar setting such as a Level I trauma hospital; proficiency in working with surgical patients of all ages (0-18 years, possibly adults); experience with a variety of surgical procedures including eyes (cataracts, vitrectomies, retina), general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, urology, plastics, burns; ability to float to other units with the exception of cardiac and gastrointestinal services.

• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 6/15, 6/22, and 6/29. The hospital provides scrubs through linen services. All travelers must have completed COVID-19 vaccination series or possess a valid exemption by the start date, with no exceptions. The facility may require working late to complete procedures and rotating weekend call duties every 6 weeks, with 48-hour weekend shifts from Saturday 0630 to Monday 0630. The nurse may be floated to any unit within their competency if no need is present on the assigned unit.
