About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Transaction Management. The successful candidate will be a key member of the legal and transaction management teams, providing high-level support across various business lines, with a focus on residential mortgage whole loan, warehouse finance, and securitization transactions. This role demands a professional with a strong background in transaction documentation, including the preparation, review, and negotiation of agreements to ensure compliance with legal standards and business objectives. The AVP will also be responsible for developing and maintaining internal systems to monitor compliance, overseeing deal management activities, and leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure the smooth execution of transactions. Applicants for the AVP position should have a Bachelor’s degree, with a JD or paralegal certification preferred, and at least 5 years of experience in legal, paralegal, or transaction management roles, particularly within the financial services, capital markets, or mortgage industries. The role requires a candidate with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. The AVP will be expected to identify and implement process improvements, as well as best practices and technology tools, to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of legal operations. The position is well-suited for a professional with a strong understanding of transaction documentation and a proven ability to lead and coordinate transaction activities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
