Senior Property Tax Specialist - Global Tax Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for meeting the property tax needs of CBRE's clients assigned including property tax appeals and property tax estimates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Acts as the primary client interface for day to day operations Communicate with taxing authorities related to appeals. Attend property tax valuations hearings as appropriate. Properly communicate with the client regarding appeal recommendations. Review properties assigned to evaluate whether the property assessment value should be appealed. Prepare and complete property valuation appeals including considering all valuation methods that are appropriate including income, market, cost, equity, and applicable exemptions. Responsible for preparation of support to prepare billing. Assist the Director in developing new ways in which to more efficiently review and appeal property values. Identifies and reports to leadership how individual results can be leveraged to develop additional revenue. Develop and bring forth ideas targeted areas for new revenue. Maintains proper state property tax agent licensing. Mentors Associate level team members as needed to support the clients needs SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
