Behavioral Health Technician

Role Description The Behavioral Health Technician is a full time summer, on-site role located in Phillipsburg, NJ. This role involves implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or other clinical supervisor. Day-to-day tasks include delivering direct one-on-one services, collecting and recording behavioral data, assisting with skill acquisition programs, and supporting behavior reduction strategies in home, community, and clinic settings. The technician will communicate regularly with supervisors and caregivers, participate in team meetings and training, and follow all clinical and ethical guidelines to ensure safe, respectful, and effective care. Qualifications Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with the ability to understand and follow ABA treatment plans. Skills in Behavioral Intervention, including implementing behavior support strategies and monitoring client progress. Effective Communication skills for collaborating with supervisors, clients, and families, and documenting services clearly. Background or coursework in Psychology or a related human services field. High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level education in psychology, education, or applied behavior analysis preferred. Ability to work on-site in Phillipsburg, NJ and travel locally as needed for home or community sessions. Comfort working with children and/or adolescents with developmental or behavioral needs; prior ABA or special needs experience is a plus. Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and supervision; certification such as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain. #J-18808-Ljbffr Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services
