Advisory Board Member, Pharmaceutical Industry

Help shape the next chapter of patient access in pharma. Oaklet is seeking an accomplished pharmaceutical executive to join our advisory board and help shape the strategy, partnerships, and growth of an ambitious healthcare technology startup. ABOUT OAKLET Oaklet builds direct-to-patient infrastructure for pharmaceutical manufacturers. We help manufacturers launch branded telemedicine programs that connect patients with independent clinicians and pharmacy fulfillment in one seamless experience. Our ambition is to make a direct path to appropriate care a core part of how pharmaceutical brands serve patients. We’re looking for an advisor who understands the industry, sees the opportunity, and wants a meaningful role in helping us build it. THE OPPORTUNITY You’ve helped build brands, launch therapies, lead organizations, or navigate the decisions that move pharmaceutical businesses forward. This is an opportunity to bring that experience into a startup where your perspective can directly influence what happens next. You will work directly with Oaklet’s founders, contributing strategic guidance at a stage where the right insight, relationship, or decision can have an outsized impact. The scope will be shaped around your expertise and interests. Potential areas of contribution include: • Commercial strategy, market positioning, and growth priorities. • Manufacturer partnerships and business development. • Brand strategy, product launches, and direct-to-patient models. • Market access, patient services, and the patient experience. • Product direction and the needs of pharmaceutical decision-makers. • Relevant introductions and industry relationships, where appropriate. • Strategic decisions as Oaklet develops its business and organization. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We welcome current and former senior executives from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including VP, SVP, EVP, General Manager, President, and C-suite leaders. Strong candidates will bring: • Substantial leadership experience in one or more relevant areas, such as commercialization, brand management, market access, patient services, corporate strategy, business development, or digital innovation. • A clear understanding of how pharmaceutical companies evaluate opportunities, make decisions, and bring new initiatives to market. • Sound judgment, a willingness to challenge assumptions, and an interest in helping an emerging company grow. • The ability to participate consistently in a focused, flexible advisory relationship. Prior startup or advisory board experience is welcome but not required. STRUCTURE AND COMPENSATION This is a remote advisory engagement with a flexible, part-time commitment. Scope, meeting cadence, and expected involvement will be agreed together. Compensation is equity only. No cash salary or retainer is offered. Equity grant size, vesting, and responsibilities will be established in a mutually agreed advisory agreement before appointment. Participation must be consistent with any existing employment, confidentiality, or conflict-of-interest obligations.
