Electrical Cad TechnicianJoin our dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX as an Electrical CAD Technician, where you will support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers in creating top-tier details for diverse projects. You will play a key role in developing computer-aided drafting and design solutions.ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparing and revising engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.Prepare and revise permit and plot drawings.Adhere to company and client drafting standards and procedures.Follow the drafting practices of the selected discipline.Draft design and documentation for various projects.Utilize standard drafting detail programs for tasks.Contribute to continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.Research project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems.Perform other duties as assigned.Comply with all policies and procedures.Essential SkillsAssociates DegreeCoursework in drafting technology or specialized CAD certificationExperience with AutoCAD and/or Micro-Station is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDemonstrated leadership skillsSelf-motivated and eager to learn, with an aptitude to grow and develop within the fieldAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Civil 3D, utilities, distribution design, and power linesWork EnvironmentWork in a collaborative office environment in Fort Worth, TX.
