Job Title Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Med/Surg Tele) Location Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 or 48 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups across a 60-bed medical unit with a 1:5–6 patient ratio Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and maintain professional accountability Operate unit equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs; document care using EPIC EMR Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units; adhere to facility dress code (black scrubs required) Required Qualifications Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or hold an active Missouri RN license BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only Minimum 1 year of inpatient Med/Surg experience Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required for assignments running November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Experience with telemetry in a Med/Surg setting Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced inpatient environment Why Join Us Join a nationally recognized acute care facility that has earned top safety grades and holds multiple certifications including a Comprehensive Stroke Center designation and Level 1 STEMI Center status Work in a vibrant city with world-class attractions, a celebrated food scene, professional sports, and a rich cultural history Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775768.
