We are looking for an Licensed Practical Nurse or Nationally Certified Medical Assistant to work in a fast paced environment and provide rooming support to a variety of patients. Monday through Friday Hours between 7am and 5pm No evenings, weekends or major holidays Experience credit added to wage Sign on bonus available for qualified candidates LPN or National Medical Assistant Certification and registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing are required for this role. Responsibilities Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients Documents a thorough medical history from patient Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered Provides technical support to healthcare professionals Counseling patients and family, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans Qualifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
