About the Role:
Join NAKAMURA-BEEMAN INC as a Drafter Microvellum, where your design skills will help shape innovative solutions in the woodworking industry. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about creating high-quality designs and collaborating with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed Microvellum drawings and specifications for custom cabinetry and millwork.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback and project requirements.
- Utilize industry-standard software to produce precise and efficient designs.
- Maintain organized documentation of design files and project revisions.
- Assist in troubleshooting design issues and providing solutions.
- Stay updated with new software features and industry trends to enhance design processes.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and share ideas.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a drafter, preferably with Microvellum software.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry design and woodworking principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts.
- Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the woodworking industry is a plus.
