IT Project Manager

IT - ADMIN - Project Manager - ConsultantAn experienced Project Manager Consultant is sought to support enterprise-level technology initiatives. This role is part of a Technology Operations IT Planning and Administration Project Management team and will be responsible for managing strategic and tactical IT projects that impact multiple state agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise and communication skills, with experience leading technology initiatives from planning through implementation and closeout.Key ResponsibilitiesManage enterprise-level IT projects from initiation through completion.Apply established project management methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate activities, deliverables, schedules, and deadlines across multiple stakeholder groups.Collaborate with state agencies, information security teams, privacy offices, program management offices, and external vendors.Track project resources, timelines, risks, and deliverables.Develop and present regular status reports and project updates to leadership.Ensure projects are completed successfully and closed out with appropriate documentation and lessons learned.Support strategic and operational technology initiatives across the organization.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Information Technology, Liberal Arts, or a related field.A minimum of 3 years of project management experience.Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and PMBOK standards.Strong financial planning and budgeting experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating reports, documentation, and correspondence.Ability to effectively prioritize work, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.Proven ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.PMI training or PMP certification.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
