Free Standing Er Registered NurseLocation: Summerville, South CarolinaAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend requirements every other weekend.Job DescriptionThe Free Standing ER Registered Nurse provides crucial emergency care for various patient demographics, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will handle a variety of cases ranging from adult emergencies to pediatric conditions and will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.ResponsibilitiesProvide emergency medical treatment to patients of all ages.Assess and triage patients to determine the urgency of care required.Administer medications and perform medical procedures as outlined in protocols.Document patient care and interactions in the electronic medical record (Epic).Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in emergency care.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureRegistered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or a Multi-State/Compact state.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting.Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA accepted), NIHSS, TNCC.Preferred: CPI and NRP certifications.Epic charting system experience.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
