Shift: Evenings, 5x8 - 14:00-22:30

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum: 2 years of sterile processing experience
- Required certification: CBSPD OR IAHCSMM/HSPA
- Core clinical skills:
- Case picking and tray assembly
- Instrument decontamination and sterilization
- Scope/probe reprocessing and high-level disinfection
- Implant/loaner tray handling and preference card familiarity
- Experience with instrument tracking/instrumentation management systems (SPM preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure proper decontamination and processing of surgical instruments and trays to maintain sterile conditions.
- Assemble and prepare instrument trays and sets according to established protocols and preferences.
- Perform high-level disinfection and sterilization processes using various methods.
- Maintain accurate records of processed items and monitor instrument usage within the facility.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure readiness and availability of instruments and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency and certification.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 3-day day-shift orientation required.
- Parking: facility-paid.
- Rotating weekends required.
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays.
- Pre-approved time off: one (per contract).
