Job Description

We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is critical for delivering high-quality patient care in a med surg unit and will involve managing a patient ratio of 6 to 1.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical setting.
• Ensure accurate medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Support and educate patients and their families on health-related issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Compact or AL RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (preferred).
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical surgical environment.
