Registered Nurse (RN) - M/S Tele

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess recent acute care experience and a solid understanding of telemetry practices. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.

Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 3x12s
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period
Required Certifications: ACLS
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care setting
Float Requirements: Will be expected to float to other units as needed

Number of Beds: 40
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

IV Pumps: Baxter
Bed/Chair Alarms: Posey
Drug Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicel
Defibrillators: Zoll

Qualifications

Must Have Skills: Telemetry and recent acute care experience; ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6; travel experience preferred
Preferred Skills: At least 2 years of RN experience; preceptor experience is a plus
Patient Types: Total joint patients, surgical cases, patients with acute/chronic conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB
Personality Fit: Compassionate, positive, and possess a can-do attitude
Required Education: ADN

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Black (top and bottom)
Unacceptable Attire: Open shoes
