Job Title: Bi-Lingual HR Generalist
Location: 100% Onsite in Irondale, AL

What You’ll Do: As the Bi-Lingual HR Generalist your main functions will be in areas of recruitment, training, orientation, payroll, compensation and benefits with a primary focus on the Spanish speaking employees who make up a 4th of MSB employees. In addition, supports and participates in the design and implementation of HR initiatives. The roles of primary responsibilities include:

• Talent: Completes the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• Employee Relations: Supports employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace issues in alignment with company policies and in partnership with management.
• Employee Benefits: Assists the Benefits Manager with the administration of benefits programs, including enrollment and communication of plan changes.
• Payroll: Assist the Benefits Manager/Payroll process payroll, payroll changes and supports leave of absence administration.
• Recordkeeping: Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation in the HRIS (BambooHR), Employee files, and any other record-keeping systems. 
• Team Collaboration and Support: Work and collaborate with other departments. This can be anywhere from assisting with job postings, interviews, payroll duties, etc.
• Problem Solving: Tackle discrepancies with a smile, finding solutions and keeping things running smoothly. Takes the initiative to solve problems when discovered, not waiting to be assigned. 
• Regulatory Compliance: Assists with developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• HR and Administrative Tasks: Performs other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
• Qualifications Required: A 4-year degree in HR, Business, Business Administration, or related field with 4+years of work experience in the construction industry which sets you up for success in this role. Native/Fluent in Spanish / English.
• Personable and Professional: You are the first impression when someone considers MSB, visits MSB, etc. We need this individual to be approachable and bring joy to the workplace with your personable nature and genuinely fun attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer Service Knowledge: You have more than a basic understanding of customer service principles and appreciate how your role impacts the overall office morale and health of the company.
• Detail Oriented: You have an eagle eye for detail and can spot a typo from a mile away will be essential. Strong problem-solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail.
• Organizational Wizard: Your workspace and responsible areas are as neat as a pin— you believe that a tidy space equals a tidy mind.
