If so, join the Easterseals Crossroads Team!We are looking for a full time and we will consider part time Industrial Maintenance/Mechanic to work first shift, and are open to flexible work schedules. In this position you will diagnose and repair various kinds of equipment while working with safety as a primary focus.What you'll do:Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment in a light industrial facilities. Types of equipment include:Hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentForkliftsStaple gunsBaltec PressesSpeedycut Tapping machinesClausing Spindle DrillAirMite punchesManual latheDrill pressBand sawGrinderOther shop equipment as needed.Other duties include:Setup and changeover production line equipmentPerform basic plumbing and electrical repairsOpen building when neededAssist in areas outside of your primary responsibility and learn other skills, as required.Education and experience:2- 5 years' experience troubleshooting and repairing equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalentWorking knowledge of metal fabrication machinesWorking knowledge of electrical systemsWorking knowledge of HVAC systemWorking knowledge of production tooling and fixturesEvery production employee hired at Crossroads Industrial Services may be trained to work in other departments, depending on the specific needs of the business and the specific skills possessed by the production employee.Benefits:MedicalDentalVisionShort- and long-term disability InsurancePaid time offRetirement plan.Easterseals Crossroads is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
