Role Description This is a part time contract role for a Registered Dietitian located in Gurnee, Illinois: Responsibilities Designed and maintained compliant, cost-effective menus aligned with regulatory and nutritional standards Provided accurate calorie and carbohydrate analysis for all menu offerings Developed standardized recipes with detailed ingredient specifications, portioning, and full nutritional analysis across multiple service groups Created inclusive, allergen-conscious menus with clear disclosures and diverse, engaging options Qualifications Expertise in Dietetics and Nutrition with a strong foundation in applying dietary principles. Experience in Nutritional Counseling to guide and educate individuals toward healthier lifestyle choices. Knowledge in Dietitian must be knowledgeable and ensure compliance with the following: ISBE (CACFP), DCFS, NSLP guidelines Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse client base. Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or eligibility to obtain RD certification. Experience in food service management or K12 school nutrition is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
