Surgical Technologist (OFNHP)

Role Surgical Technician responsible for assisting the surgical team in the operating room by preparing surgical cases, maintaining a sterile environment, and passing instruments and supplies during procedures. Responsibilities Set up operative instrumentation and sterile fields, ensure availability of supplies and equipment, perform counts of instruments, sponges, needles, and blades, transport patients, and perform clerical duties. Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and facilities, and review inventory as needed. Qualifications Requires certification as a Surgery Technician and CPR/BLS certification. Preferred candidates will have completed an accredited surgical technology program, and possess experience in operating rooms or as a scrub technician. Skills Attention to detail, aseptic technique, ability to assemble and handle surgical supplies, and perform housekeeping duties.
