Job Summary The maintenance technician oversees maintenance needs to include the repair and maintenance of production equipment, air conditioning and humidification systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. CNC Maintenance experience a plus. Essential Functions Program and operate PTH equipment (Printers, Placers, Oven, AOI and AXI) Assist in developing and refining manufacturing process with manufacturing engineers Participating in manufacturing trials by preparing coupon-level samples Supervise automated electrical and mechanical test equipment Roll out process changes to production equipment Responding to advanced maintenance issues Interact daily with Manufacturing Engineers to communicate results and receive tasks Assist with root cause analysis Assist Manufacturing Engineers with ensuring equipment and processes meet production capacity targets and outputs Assist with IT support when necessary. Assisting the product development team on validating New Product Introduction (NPI) from a manufacturing perspective; PCB validation, component verification, validation, etc. Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules. Obligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code. Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improve our safety processes. Other duties as assigned.
