ID: 64353735 Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Description: Dept: Float-M NICU 20302 Location: The expectation is that RNs are willing to float between all three hospitals, as needed Children's MN at 2525 Chicago Ave, Mpls, MN 55404 (Units: Special Care Nursey (SCN), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Infant Care Center (ICC)) Childrens MN at 345 Smith Ave N, St. Paul, MN 55102 (Units: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)) Allina Mercy at 4050 Coon Rapids Blvd, Coon Rapids, MN 55433 (Units: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU))Title: Neonatal RN # of Openings: 9 FTE: 1.2 (4x12, 48 hrs) Shift: Day/Evening/Night Shift Length: 12 hours Weekends: Every other Call: No Assignment Length: 9 weeks Start Date: 8/24/2026 The hiring team would like an end date of 10/20/2026 if possible. The next available orientation would be 9/14. Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing, MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN, BLS cert, NRP cert, and 2 yrs NICU nursing experience which includes ability to care for infants requiring: assisted ventilation including high frequency ventilator (JET and Oscillator), conventional vents, and non-invasive methods (bubble CPAP, RAM cannula, HFNC (high flow nasal cannula), pre and post op care of critically ill newborns (including those with trachs), pre-term infants including ELBW (extremely low birth weight) population, strong knowledge of developmental care is expected. Responsibilities: Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. References not required , but 1-2 are helpful and could help travelers stand out against another agency s candidates. Travel partners are welcome! No restrictions. They're still expected to work where needed though, which could result in them having different shifts at times.
