Join Our Team as a Critical Care Nurse - Oncology ICU!

Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00-07:00
- Location: 7ES, 7777 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas, 75230
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 10
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, RNs per census
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, RNs per census
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Type of Equipment: Ventilators, CRRT, A-line, BiPAP, Flow-track, IV Pumps
- EMR System: Meditech


- Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must-Have Skills:
- Strong ICU experience
- Experience with titrating drips
- Knowledge of caring for patients on ventilators and BiPAP
- Preferred Skills:
- CRRT experience
- Transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver)

- Typical Procedures:
- Comprehensive care for critically ill patients
- Total patient care including turning, titrating drips, dressing changes, and tracheostomy care

- Best Personality Fit:
- Compassionate
- Team-oriented
- Excellent rapport with physicians

- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS

- Floating Areas:
- All ICUs
- PCU
- BMT

- Dress Code:
- Blue scrubs

- Unit Guidelines/Policies:
- Report at 0645/1845
- Clock in/out for lunch
- Total care of critically ill patients

- Work Schedule:
- Rotating weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Weeks: 91
- Number of Positions: 1 or 2
