Ultrasound Technologist
MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will bring experience in performing a range of ultrasound procedures while prioritizing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review findings and enhance patient care plans.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Current Illinois state licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in relevant specialties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
