Represent IDEXX to customers and academia. Partner with Sales Force and collaborate with internal teams, providing technical support to sales and marketing, technical training, market trials and other applicable technical activities./ppWe have one position available that can live and work from the following locations:/pulliSan Antonio, Austin or Dallas, TX/liliOr, San Diego, Thousand Oaks, San Fernando or Pasadena, CA/li/ulpIn this role you will:/pulliConsult with Practice Owner Veterinarians on medical protocols to promote growth and utilization of IDEXX products, services, and medical testing./liliRepresent IDEXX to customers and academia which may include hosting seminars and continuing education sessions on company products to key influencers at Veterinary Hospitals, University and Veterinary Schools, etc./liliPartner with the Sales organization and other IDEXX areas as needed to collaborate, providing medical support to sales and marketing, technical medical training, market trials, and other applicable activities./liliProactively support the companys products through assisting with, creating and reviewing technical materials and presenting technical medical subjects to a variety of audiences. May assist and write technical medical documents and/or provide input and approval oversight on marketing and field selling materials./liliProvide support to IDEXX Training Department, creating written materials, presentations, and conducting training sessions as appropriate./liliAssure compliance with all lDEXX SOPs and procedures relative to product questions/concerns, client records and administrative responsibilities./liliHandle customer (veterinary and end-user) questions providing technical medical advice and following through on product complaints./liliAdhere to and model the IDEXX Purpose Guiding Principles./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpWhat you will need to succeed:/pulliDVM degree or equivalent./liliAdvanced degree or board certification preferred./liliTypically, 5-8 years of experience in the Veterinary Industry and/or in Veterinary Practice/liliLicensed to practice in at least one state a plus./liliSolid knowledge of current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine./liliStrong business acumen, including specific knowledge of products and services sold./liliSeasoned business and medical professional./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others effectively and appropriately./liliStrong facilitator, able to resolve conflict through mutual understanding and respect./liliExcellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required./liliProfessional maturity, adaptability and responsiveness to employee, customer and peer needs or concerns./liliStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others in a matrix environment./liliHigh integrity and honesty to keep commitments to Employees, Customers, and the Company./liliGoal oriented, with drive, initiative and passion for business and team excellence./liliAbility to organize and prioritize./liliHave a service-oriented attitude./liliComputer proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word/liliAble to accommodate extensive travel up to 75% (four days in the field, one day work from home)/liliCompany vehicle provided/liliHold a valid drivers license/liliExtended hours may be required./liliThis position can be based in San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas, TX or/liliThis position could also be based in San Diego, Thousand Oaks, San Fernando or Pasadena, CA/li/ulpWhat you can expect from us:/pulliAnnual Salary $140,000-160,000 based on experience/liliOpportunity for annual cash bonus/liliHealth / Dental / Vision Benefits Day-One/lili5% matching 401k/liliAdditional benefits including but not limited to financial support, pet insurance, mental health resources, volunteer paid days off, employee stock program, foundation donation matching, and much more!/li/ulpWhy IDEXX?/ppWere proud of the work we do, because our work matters.
