Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist in Dallas, TX, with at least 1 year of experience in Cath/EP cases and required ARRT or RCIS certification.

Details

• Cardiac catheterization lab setting at an acute care hospital in Dallas, TX
• Performs cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and electrophysiology procedures
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
• Rotating after-hours on-call required, including a mandatory Sunday rotation
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
• Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Active AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Texas Medical Radiologic License required — license required if applicable
• 2 supervisory references from within the last year required for consideration
• Proof of taxable address required for consideration (Driver's License, Utility Bill, Lease/Rental Agreement, or similar documentation)
• Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc.) or dedicated Cath/EP Lab is preferred
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred

Additional Information

• Conducts specialized cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology examinations
• Serves as a lead resource for medical and clinical staff during procedures
• Collaborates with the intra-procedure team and participates in Universal Protocol and site marking identification
• Responsible for equipment maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance recordkeeping
• Expected to identify process improvements and contribute to department goals
• Candidates must disclose any previous employment history at this facility
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Previous Parkland employment history must be disclosed
