Help Desk Technician

Position Title: Help Desk Technician Location: NW Washington, DC Industry: Non Profit Reports to: Sr Systems Administrator Status: Hybrid Remote Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Position Summary Answer, enter and track help desk calls and email messages Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, hard drives and monitors Assist with database troubleshooting and reporting Install and update software, create profiles, and set up computers for new employees Responsible for organization and inventory of computer equipment and software licenses Routine maintenance of computer equipment including setup and removal of any computers, laptops or monitors Contact third party vendors for repair and accompany technician while on-site Obtain vendor quotes and purchase hardware & software for the organization Pack, ship and track equipment sent to vendors Install software and hardware Qualifications Summary Minimum three years of related IT and/or help desk experience Experience with Microsoft Networking including Active Directory Familiarity with troubleshooting MS Office Suite products Ability to configure and deploy laptops and PCs Ability to manage MS Exchange online Experience troubleshooting website issues utilizing HTML capabilities Familiarity with Sharepoint Hardware, software or other IT program certification a plus Remain up to date with the latest developments and trends in the Information Technology field Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Washington, DC 20036 #J-18808-Ljbffr Jones Networking
