Claims Coordinator

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Torrent. This role will be based in Kalispell, or can be performed Remotely Nationwide. This position provides administrative and operational support to the litigation function by coordinating the handling of litigated claims, subpoenas, official complaints, subrogation requests, and audit-related activities. The Litigation Coordinator supports the Litigation Manager in ensuring cases are appropriately onboarded, documented, tracked, and processed in a timely and accurate manner. The role serves as a point of coordination among internal teams, clients, attorneys, FEMA/NFIP, and other external stakeholders to support effective communication, compliance, and workflow management throughout the litigation process What you need to have: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling sensitive information Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to independently identify, manage, and prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams What makes you stand out: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience Prior claims experience, including experience in claims or insurance litigation NFIP experience Why join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
