Schedule: Floating Shift 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)/Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

• Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 7a–7p / 7p–7a

• Weekend: Every other weekend | Call: None

• Charting: EPIC required; Non-EPIC: CPN/GE Centricity

• RTO/Block Scheduling: Requests must be submitted with profile

• Holiday: Must be available every other holiday, if needed

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Local Rule: No RNs within 75 miles; LPN locals accepted

• License: Active NY Single-State RN/LPN license required ; pending license not accepted; NY is not compact

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS/OB-ACLS, EFM, NRP

• Float: May float within skillset

• Scrubs: Hospital provided

Clinical Skills:

• Vaginal delivery, C-section circulation/recovery, baby nurse/baby catcher

• Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin/oxytocin, Terbutaline

• APGAR scoring, ID/security banding, radiant warmers/thermoregulation

• Foley management, fundus/lochia/perineum care

• Postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension

• NST, EFM, IUPC placement/calibration

Unit Details:

• Cares for pregnant patients at any gestational age accepted by provider team

• Triage evaluates pregnant patients at any gestational age and postpartum patients up to 6 weeks

• Equipment: GE fetal & telemetry monitors, Monica wireless fetal monitoring, Neopuff, Draeger newborn warmers

• Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract without charges.
