Job Description We have an opening for an Analytical Chemist at the Analyst level: Perform hands-on laboratory work with limited supervision Interpret analytical data from a variety of techniques (including FT-IR, NMR, GC-MS and/or LC-MS) Write basic reports which includes methodology, conclusions and supporting analytical data Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment under firm deadlines Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines Maintain analytical instrumentation and troubleshoot problems when necessary Author standard operating procedures and demonstrate the ability to follow procedures Collaborate effectively in a team environment Qualifications EDUCATION B.S. in Chemistry with good understanding of theory and related techniques and related operations is required. Experience with MS 365 (e.g., Word, Excel) and basic computer systems EXPERIENCE 1-2 years of industrial experience preferred but not required Knowledge with sample preparation and data interpretation. Direct experience with chromatography techniques (e.g., GC/FID, GC/MS, HPLC/UV) is preferred. Additional Information Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
