Construction Project Manager

We are partnered with a leading design-build contractor specializing in cold storage, food processing, industrial manufacturing, and distribution facilities throughout North America. The company delivers highly technical projects for clients in the food, beverage, logistics, and industrial sectors, managing projects from concept through completion. This role is responsible for leading project execution, financial performance, client relationships, and team coordination for complex industrial and temperature-controlled construction projects. Role and Responsibilities Lead all phases of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout for industrial and cold storage construction projects. Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and overall financial performance. Develop and maintain master project schedules in collaboration with field leadership and subcontractors. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal design-build teams throughout project execution. Negotiate and administer subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and vendor contracts. Manage procurement activities for long-lead equipment, refrigeration systems, structural components, and critical building materials. Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget objectives. Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Monitor project progress and support field teams in resolving technical and operational challenges. Oversee project billing, cost control, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and company procedures. Support commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout activities. Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities. Experience managing ground-up industrial, manufacturing, distribution, food processing, or cold storage projects. Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and contract administration. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex project schedules. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills. Experience with project management software, scheduling platforms, and construction management systems. Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
