Construction Project Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a growing construction team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys staying close to the day-to-day details of active projects while building a long-term path toward Project Management. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager throughout preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout phases. Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, Superintendents, and field teams to keep project information organized and current. Prepare, review, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, punch lists, and closeout documentation. Assist with bid packages, procurement, bid analysis, buyouts, constructability reviews, permit tracking, and contract documentation. Review drawings, specifications, schedules, materials, and project documentation to help identify issues and keep work aligned with plans, codes, and safety requirements. Track subcontractor progress, material deliveries, quality control items, and project updates while communicating risks or concerns to the Project Manager or Superintendent. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year. Job type: Direct hire. Location: Phoenix, AZ.
