Respite Care Program Manager

Position Respite Care Program Manager Location San Antonio, TX Work Schedule 0730 to 1630 (CST) Monday through Friday Mandatory Qualifications Master's Degree in a healthcare‑related field; OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field. If Master's: 5+ years of progressive management experience. If Bachelor's: 10+ years of progressive management experience. All candidates must have at least 5 years of experience supporting military families or similar populations and demonstrated experience with case management and special needs programs. Program Overview The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) supports military families with special medical or educational needs. The program includes the EFMP Respite Care Program, providing short‑term relief to primary caregivers to reduce fatigue and sustain readiness. Contracted support enables the Army to deliver consistent, compliant, and high‑quality respite care services to eligible families. Responsibilities Program Management and Oversight Staffing & Qualifications. Recruit, vet, and retain qualified providers and ensure all personnel meet the requirements of Section 1.9 before performing any work. Adhere to the checklist and mandatory forms in Technical Exhibit C – Pre‑Employment Check Packet. STD: Maintain a complete file for every employee containing proof of all required education, experience, licenses, certifications, and background checks.
