You'll provide direct support to clients, ensure their safety, and contribute meaningfully to a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery, dignity, and healing. This role is fast-paced, emotionally fulfilling, and critical to crisis care.Key ResponsibilitiesClient SupportAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs)Monitor, observe, and document client behavior, condition, and safetyOffer emotional support and crisis interventionUse de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, therapeutic spaceLead or support recovery-focused activities and group sessionsTreatment SupportCarry out treatment plans developed by cliniciansDocument client interactions and progress using Electronic Health Records (EHR)Monitor vital signs and assist in physical wellness checksTeam CollaborationWork side-by-side with nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, and case managersShare timely updates about client status and care needsAttend team meetings and provide feedback on client progressEnvironment & SafetyMaintain cleanliness, safety, and order on the unitConduct routine safety checks and manage essential suppliesCompliance & EthicsAdhere to all HIPAA, confidentiality, and organizational standardsComplete mandatory training and participate in ongoing developmentWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GEDOne year of experience in social services or related fieldCPR, First Aid, MindSet (or CPI equivalent), and Defensive Driving certification (or ability to obtain)Strong documentation and basic computer skillsPreferredCollege coursework in psychology, social work, or a related fieldTwo years of behavioral health experienceFamiliarity with crisis intervention and trauma-informed careSkillsEmpathy and patience in high-stress situationsExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to de-escalate and support clients in crisisTeam-first mindset with strong attention to detailPhysical & Work RequirementsAble to walk, stand, and sit for long periodsCapable of lifting up to 25 lbsComfortable working weekends, holidays, and flexible shiftsWilling to work in a fast-paced environment with potential for exposure to combative behaviorWhy Join Claratel?Meaningful work that changes lives every daySupportive and diverse team cultureAccess to ongoing professional development and trainingOpportunity to grow within one of Georgia's leading behavioral health organizationsApply today and start your journey with Claratel Behavioral Health
