Travel Consultant (Niche Market-Disney Vacations)

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our specialized team dedicated to crafting unforgettable Disney vacation experiences. As a Travel Consultant (Niche Market – Disney Vacations), you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests planning magical trips to Disney destinations, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for travel, storytelling, and exceptional service. You will leverage your strong customer service skills, sales acumen, and proficiency in computer operations to design personalized vacation packages, manage bookings, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. Your ability to inspire and guide families and individuals through the planning process will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and revenue growth within our niche Disney-focused division.

Responsibilities:

- Assist guests in planning and booking Disney-themed vacations, including accommodations, theme park tickets, dining reservations, and special experiences. 

- Provide expert knowledge of Disney destinations, attractions, resort offerings, and seasonal events to guide personalized travel recommendations. 

- Utilize travel booking software and CRM systems to manage reservations, update itineraries, and ensure accurate documentation. 

- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and virtual consultations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. 

- Promote and upsell travel packages, vacation packages, and premium add-ons (e.g., Disney Genie+, Memory Maker, VIP experiences) to enhance guest value. 

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Disney travel products, policies, and industry trends through ongoing training and certifications. 

- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate seamless travel experiences and ensure timely communication with guests. 

- Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and booking trends to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field is a plus. 

- 0–1 year of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or travel services; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. 

- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments. 

- Proficient in computer operations, including MS Office Suite, CRM systems, and online booking platforms. 

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. 

- Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles with a results-driven mindset. 

- Passion for Disney, family travel, and creating memorable experiences. 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment. 

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate guest needs.
