Sterile Processing Tech - Certified Sterile Processing Tech

TLC

Sterile Processing Technician – SPD

Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred. Previous community hospital experience required. Travel experience is required; prior travel preferred. BLS certification required. Experience with instrument tracking, sterilization processes, decontamination, and tray assembly. High-level disinfection and scope/probe reprocessing experience. Knowledge of steam sterilization, monitoring, washer/sterilizer use. Experience supporting OR and Ambulatory Surgery Center workflows, including robotics and laparoscopic sets. Experience with Epic preferred.

Orientation required: 40 hours. Call required. Floating to similar units as needed. Pre-approved time off allowed: 1 day (per contract). Pending NM/compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start. Labs required within 48 business hours after contract signing.
