Senior Machinist Grinder

An established family-owned machine shop needs a Senior Grinder to start immediately. The rapid growth of our company in this area has created the demand for a Senior Grinder with experience in ID and OD grinding. The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities, Tool & Die skills and knowledge, and the ability to communicate to all levels in our organization.

Essential Duties

·         Perform OD and ID grinding on machine parts.

·         Maintain manual grinding equipment for optima! Performance.

·         Ensure quality control adheres to industry, company, and customer standards.

·         Work independently under the direction of the Shop Foreman.

·         Follow safety protocols and company policies.

·         Adapt to flexible scheduling to meet production needs.

·         Set up and maintain the grinding station.

·         Safety and cleanliness are essential responsibilities.

·         Follow directions and standard processes.

·         Record results.

Essential Qualifications

·         High School diploma or GED equivalent.

·         Proactively solves issues and works independently. Display a high level of initiative and effort.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

·         Familiarity with precision measurement tools.

·        In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.

·        Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.

·        Strong work ethic, self-motivation and results driven.
