ASSISTANT CONVENIENCE STORE MANAGER (ALL LOCATIONS)

Assistant ManagerWe are currently seeking qualified managers to be responsible for all aspects of our store, which include video gaming and restaurant operations experience. Must have great communication/interpersonal skills and be able to multi-task. Computer and cash handling experience required. Knowledge of Fleet Cards, Comdata and SSCS systems are a plus. Initial responsibilities include: assisting Manager with daily deposits, shift changes, staffing, training, vendors, merchandising, maintaining store inventory and providing customer service. The ideal applicant should be able to work in a team environment, consistently meet deadlines, margins, train and motivate staff. Applicants should have a strong desire to advance and grow with a rapidly expanding company. This is a full time salary position that includes benefits. Must be able to obtain any licenses within a reasonable time frame. Salary will be based on experience.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Train and develop all new hiresVerify cashiers daily paperwork to ensure balancing of each shiftMake deposits to bank in a timely manner to ensure accuracy of daily sales reportsMake change for cashiers as neededEnsure open/close of shifts are done in a timely manner according to policyMaintaining inventory controlCheck all Vendor deliveries to ensure invoice is correctRecords daily transaction amounts from cash register to balance drawerBags merchandise, issues receipts, and redeems promotional couponsReview price sheets to note price accuracy and changes on gas, deli, beer, liquor, or tobacco and all sale itemsRecords prices and departments in an accurate manner on the register to ensure taxable items and totals are correctStock and clean shelves, and mark prices on itemsCollect cash, check, or charge payment from customer, make change for cash transactionsCounts money in cash drawer at beginning and end of work shift to ensure money balances with salesUse the register to swipe all identification to sell tobacco, beer, liquor and lottery tickets to ensure of legal age to purchasePromote and ensure customer satisfaction on all purchasesGreet all customers as they enter the storeEnforce disciplinary actions when neededBe able to complete all C-store Manager Duties when the Manager is absentMaintain a positive attitude to ensure productive team workProperly process fuel fleet transactions such as Comdata, WEX, EFS and FuelmanPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
