Coastal Health is a patient-centered primary care practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Collect co-pays and process patient payments
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
  • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous medical front desk or medical office experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical office procedures is a plus
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

Minimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred.
