Business Intelligence Engineer II, Amazon Key Seattle, WA Full-time Onsite $90K/yr - $185K/yr 3+ years exp Amazon Key team is seeking a passionate Business Intelligence Engineer to help drive the transformation of customer delivery experience. The role involves creating and optimizing table structures, identifying KPIs, generating reports, and analyzing data to inform strategic initiatives. Consumer Goods Public Safety Internet of Things Consumer Electronics Security Smart Home Responsibilities Design, implement, and support a platform providing ad hoc access to large datasets Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) using SQL and ETL Develop analytical tools: deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboard Perform deep-dives and root cause analysis to answer business questions Work with cross functional stakeholders in defining the source of truth and obsessively making sure the data fidelity is high Effectively communicate (written and verbal) solutions and methodologies to senior leadership Work with engineering teams to enable the appropriate capture and storage of data Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and identify new, actionable risk signals Qualification SQL Data Visualization ETL Pipelines Data Modeling Statistical Analysis Python Redshift Oracle NoSQL AWS EC2 AWS DynamoDB AWS S3 AWS Redshift Tableau Quicksight R SAS Matlab Required 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Preferred Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets Equity Sign-on payments Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits Home security systems, cameras, alarms, and doorbells. #J-18808-Ljbffr jobright.com
