CSR / Associate Vendor Expeditor

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Vendor Expeditor to support the supply chain team by driving outbound purchase order expediting, managing inbound vendor service emails, and helping resolve order, delivery, and service issues. This entry-level role focuses on structured follow-up, timely communication, documentation, and issue resolution to keep orders moving and support smooth operations. This role begins with close supervision and structured support, gradually transitioning to increased independence as proficiency and knowlege grow. Responsibilities

• Make proactive outbound calls and follow-ups to vendor on late, at-risk, or high-priority purchase orders to confirm status, obtain recovery dates, and push for accelerated fulfillment.

● Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Purchasing, Merchandising,
Customer Service, and Distribution teams to align expedited deliveries with customer
commitments, invoicing needs, and revenue timelines.
● Escalation Management: Using Case management tool to route high-value or time-
sensitive POs.
● Performance Tracking: Maintain detailed logs of expediting actions, vendor
responsiveness, and delivery outcomes to support continuous improvement and
accountability.
Inbound Vendor Service Emails & Issue Resolution:
● Monitor and respond to inbound vendor service emails, routing requests, order status
questions, delivery issues, billing questions, and other service-related inquiries.
● Escalation Management: Using Case management tool to route high-value or time-
sensitive POs
● Provide timely vendor support for freight routing, delivery updates, portal questions,
documentation needs, and billing process questions while escalating items that
require additional functional ownership.
● Drive resolution of vendor service issues by documenting root cause, routing with the
appropriate internal teams, and ensuring open items are closed in a timely manner.
