Job Description

We are currently hiring a Machine Operator for our client, a leading Custom Foam Fabrication production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to support high-speed foam production. If you have experience with production machinery and a sharp eye for quality, this is the role for you. 

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and adjust equipment based on job specifications
• Load materials into the machines for production runs
• Monitor quality throughout the machinery, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Identify and correct defects or mechanical issues during runs
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior experience as a machine operator 
• Ability to interpret work orders, and specifications
• Basic Math Skills, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  
• Ability to convert fractions and decimals, read a ruler in increments of 1/16’ and .06”. 
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs

The base salary range for this position is $19+/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
