Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 6:45–19:15 / Night: 18:45–7:15 | Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 1 Holiday required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status using advanced monitoring equipment
• Operate and manage devices including IABPs and Impellas
• Perform and oversee CRRT/CVVHD therapy
• Care for postoperative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG and valve procedures
• Float to Adult ICU or Telemetry units with appropriate assignment as census requires

Required Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency with CRRT/CVVHD, hemodynamic monitoring, IABPs, and Impellas
• Experience caring for postoperative heart surgery patients (CABG/Valves)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU environment
• Comfort with rotating shift schedules, including mixed day and night shifts within the same week
