Overview:
As an Anesthesiology Physician with us, you will be a vital contributor to our surgical teams, offering regional anesthesia techniques such as nerve blocks, spinal anesthesia, and ultrasound-guided procedures. You ll work independently during night shifts, providing anesthesia coverage for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort around the clock. This role requires flexibility, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to excellence in perioperative care.


Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (BC or BE)
• Valid PA Medical License or IMLC License of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
• Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience
• Proficiency in MAC, regional blocks, spinal, and ultrasound-guided techniques
• Certification in ACLS and PALS
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle diverse patient populations of all ages
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with regional and nerve block anesthesia in a high-volume orthopedic setting
• Experience working with Epic EMR platforms
• Flexibility to handle sporadic solo night shifts and regional anesthesia procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree with residency in Anesthesiology
• Active license in Pennsylvania or eligible via IMLC LOQ
• At least 2 years of clinical practice in a hospital environment

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work night shifts on a sporadic schedule (June 2nd onward as per the schedule)
• Ability to credential within 90 days, with expedited options for qualified candidates
• Travel and licensure reimbursements available when applicable
• Valid DEA license is not required for this position
