We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.Job SummaryResponsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Company customers by utilizing knowledge of Company products and programs. Also responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relations, as well as team member relations within the Customer Service Department.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponds to customer inquiries regarding price and product literature requestsGenerate or assist in developing quotations in support of the business strategyProcess sales orders in a courteous, efficient and timely mannerMaintain up-to-date files in the CRM system, and perform account management tasks, including adds, deletes, and changesProvides timely feedback to the customer including shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution with internal Teledyne functionsProcess product returns and validate warranty claims.Meets and exceeds customer's service expectations.Solicits sale of new or additional services.Education and Experience· High School Diploma or equivalent plus required· Minimum two years of customer service experience in manufacturing environment· Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Marketing or Business Administration (preferred)· Familiarity with and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team memberJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities• Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system, and adhere to policies and guidelines• Use information collected from customer or partners to better educate the sales team about changes in market needs• Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis, and help perform research of customer requirements• Participate in management meetings and take part in sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items• Conduct regular customer review calls and follow up as necessary• Assist in customer escalation process when warranted• Perform reporting functions on an ongoing and timely basis, including tracking quotation activity, and bookings• Assist in the completion of various sales-related projects and activities, including proposal development and marketing campaignsTraining Requirements· ERP Overview· Teledyne Shared Values (Ethics/Harassment/Email)· Hazardous Communications· Quality Systems/Health, Safety, Environment (HSE)Physical DemandsThis position requires sitting and using phones and personal computers with significant amounts of data entry.Work Environment· This position will work in office environment.· May occasionally visit various parts of the manufacturing environment.Personal Protective Equipment:Safety glasses and shoes while in the manufacturing area.Required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
