Senior Cyber Security Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support and enhance enterprise-wide security initiatives. This role plays a critical part in protecting systems, applications, and cloud environments through advanced threat analysis, vulnerability management, and security control implementation. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong ownership, and the ability to lead security initiatives independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support enterprise-wide vulnerability management program and remediation efforts Perform advanced threat analysis and modeling to ensure security controls remain effective Implement and manage security controls to protect enterprise systems and data Complete and close IT tickets related to vulnerability remediation and endpoint protection Serve as IT Security subject matter expert for business and IT projects Support cloud initiatives by recommending and implementing security controls in public cloud environments Perform application security reviews for web and mobile applications Participate in CSIRT activities and security incident investigations Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to deliver integrated security solutions Present technical solutions and findings to various levels of management Lead security investigations and remediation efforts end to end with minimal direction Provide mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to strategic security initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field 7 or more years of hands‑on information security experience with demonstrated ownership of programs or workstreams Expert knowledge of Windows, Mac, Linux or Unix, and iSeries operating systems Experience conducting security assessments and application or system analysis Strong understanding of application security, risk assessment, penetration testing validation, and vulnerability remediation Experience with database, networking, virtualization, and server hardware concepts Advanced skills in endpoint security, threat management, and incident response Experience with identity and access management solutions including SSO, MFA, IDaaS, and federated identity systems Demonstrated ability to lead investigations and remediation efforts independently Advanced expertise in at least one core security domain such as vulnerability management, detection and response, cloud security, or identity and access management Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines Hands‑on experience with Rapid7 administration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Industry certifications such as AWS, Certified Cloud Architect, CCSK, CISSP, CEH, CCNA, or CompTIA Cloud+ Experience with application support and system troubleshooting Experience working with offshore teams Experience influencing stakeholders and contributing to security strategy and architecture decisions #J-18808-Ljbffr Search Services
