Contract | Nights | 3x12s (1900–0730) | 36 hrs/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continuously reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Conduct holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team while maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
• Willingness to float as a sitter and participate in unit rotation as needed
• Ability to delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with evidence-based ICU workflows, processes, and procedures
