Travel Imaging Tech (Medical Imaging Technician) - CT (Computed Tomography)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel - CT Tech Level 2

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, Fri-Sun, 12x3, 36hrs/week Weekend required, on call required (2-3 call shifts/month), callback required, holidays required

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• ARRT with CT certification required
• Injection therapy certification required (must be stated on NYS license at time of submission)
• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• Telemetry
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred

Other Details:

• Must confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scan per department policy
• Coordinates with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepares patients for scans and inserts IVs when necessary
• Positions patients, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; safe patient handling required
• Maintains accurate patient records in EPIC; ensures images are sent to PACS system correctly
