Certification is mandatory. Must have CVOR experience. The facility is recognized as one of the best for clinical quality. It has achieved high safety ratings for protecting patients. The busy surgical program offers advanced robotic surgery options. The facility provides the only open-heart and interventional cardiology services in the area. Candidates should have critical care experience; pre-op experience is a plus. Skills required include excellent documentation and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment. Good critical thinking skills are essential. Advanced skills necessary for this role include large-bore IV starts and medication administration. Other tasks include assisting with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements. Teamwork and communication skills are critical for interacting with interdepartmental teams. Dress code is uniform provided by the organization. The department values innovative technology and has a tenured staff.
