Overview Registered Nurse - Med Surg, travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date: August 10, 2026. Eight-week engagement with a weekly pay range of $1,837 to $1,935 per week and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: three 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This position supports a medical-surgical unit requiring skilled, bedside care across a broad adult patient population. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,837–$1,935 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour nights Start date: 08/10/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital EPIC EMR experience required Responsibilities Provide direct, professional nursing care for assigned Med Surg patients across a wide age range as defined by unit assignment Deliver care using the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the health care team to implement the medical plan of care Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per orders, assess for changes in condition, and escalated as needed Incorporate patient and family education, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe transitions of care Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols, and delegate aspects of care within the scope of practice Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and support data accuracy and continuity of care Requirements Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at time of hire Experience: At least two years of recent RN bedside experience in the field Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Additional qualifications: Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia during Orientation for all departments except Obstetrics and NICU; EPIC electronic medical record experience required Ability to work the listed shift and provide care in a Med Surg setting with appropriate supervision and support Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement Credentialing and orientation assistance Access to a broad network of travel opportunities upon completion of the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
