Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of a Trainer: Run antibiotic tests. Wash tanks and silos. Wash and unload milk trucks. Wash product lines. Process milk slips. Perform RO readings. Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule. Load whey/cream trucks. Mix powder for production Wash tanks and silos. Wash RO/POL. Wash Whey Separator. Mix NFDM. Mix WPC. CIP lines. Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule. Assist in training new employees as directed by Supervisor. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Attend meetings as directed. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Safety Protocol Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. The individual who will own this role: Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Skills Required: Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work. Follow one- or two-step verbal instructions; read and follow written instructions; perform routine and repetitive tasks and carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or verbal instructions. Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information. Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, MSDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP). Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships. This facility is a top manufacturer of IQF sticks that are supplied to the appetizer industry. Next to the plant is our well-known Simon’s Specialty Cheese store, which has about 20 employees. Simon’s is a Wisconsin-themed store, with everything from meats and cheese to clothing and craft spirits. Agropur’s US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year.
